Delivery Driver CV Template and Examples

A delivery driver CV template with five example bullets: licence and points, drops per day, first-time delivery rate, and what transport managers check.

A delivery driver CV gets scanned for three things before anything else: your licence, your points, and your record. If a transport manager has to hunt for them, they usually will not.

What recruiters actually scan for

  • Licence class and penalty points — state both plainly, in the first section
  • Vehicle types you have actually driven — 3.5t Luton, LWB van, 7.5t if you hold C1
  • Volume — drops per day or parcels per shift, and your first-time delivery rate
  • Clean history — years without an at-fault claim, passed vehicle-check audits
  • Tech — handheld and PDA apps, route apps, electronic proof of delivery

Five example bullet points

Copy the shape and use your own real figures.

  • Completed 90–110 multi-drop deliveries per day on urban routes with a 99.4% first-time delivery rate.
  • Held a full licence with zero points and a 5-year clean insurance history across 3.5t and LWB vans.
  • Maintained a 4.9/5 customer rating across 4,000+ tracked deliveries.
  • Passed every daily vehicle-check audit for 2 years and logged defects same-day, with no roadside failures.
  • Cut average route time by about 25 minutes by re-sequencing drops around school-run traffic.

The mistake that sinks driver CVs

Hiding the licence. Plenty of driver CVs open with a personality paragraph and mention the licence in the last line. Reverse it: licence class, points, and years of clean driving go at the top, because that is the pass/fail check. If you do have points, say so honestly — insurers surface them anyway, and being upfront reads far better than being caught.

Which template to pick

A driver's CV should be one page and instantly scannable. On NobelCV, Studio Column keeps everything in one clean column, and Signal Mono suits a compact, fact-dense page where licence, vehicles, and numbers line up neatly.
