Junior Frontend Developer CV Template and Examples

A junior frontend developer CV template with five example bullets: shipped projects, real metrics, and the skill-list mistake that gets juniors rejected.

For junior frontend roles the reviewer is usually an engineer, and they are reading for one thing: evidence you have built and shipped something real. A junior CV does not need years of experience — it needs proof of work.

What recruiters actually scan for

  • Links that work — a GitHub profile and one or two live deployed projects, right at the top
  • A precise stack — "React, TypeScript, Vite, Tailwind" beats fifteen technologies you touched once
  • Workflow evidence — pull requests, code review, tests, CI, deploys
  • Outcomes — users, performance numbers, bundle sizes, accessibility fixes
  • Honesty about level — a tutorial project labelled as a tutorial builds more trust than one dressed up as a product

Five example bullet points

Copy the shape; every claim here is the kind an interviewer will ask about, so keep yours true.

  • Built and deployed a React + TypeScript meal-planning app used by around 200 monthly visitors; Lighthouse performance score 96.
  • Cut my final-year project's bundle from 1.2 MB to 340 KB by code-splitting routes and removing moment.js.
  • Merged 15 pull requests into an open-source component library, including two accessibility fixes.
  • Wrote Vitest unit tests covering a mock store's checkout flow; the suite caught 3 regressions during refactors.
  • Rebuilt a local charity's donation page; mobile bounce rate fell 18% in the month after launch.

The mistake that sinks junior CVs

The skill soup. A single line listing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node, Python, Java, C++, and MongoDB signals breadth without depth — and invites an interview question you cannot answer. Name the three or four tools you genuinely work in, and let the projects prove them.

Which template to pick

Engineers respond to precision. On NobelCV, the Signal Mono family is built for exactly this — crisp labels and dense skill blocks — while Studio Column works if you prefer a softer, more narrative page.
