Warehouse Operative CV Template and Examples

A warehouse operative CV template with five example bullet points: pick rates, scan accuracy, FLT licences, and the mistake that gets CVs skipped.

Warehouse recruiters make a decision in seconds, and they are looking for numbers, not adjectives. This page shows what to put on a warehouse operative CV, with real bullet shapes you can adapt.

What recruiters actually scan for

  • Pick rate — units or orders per hour, and how you compare to the site average
  • Accuracy — scan or pick accuracy as a percentage
  • Equipment tickets — counterbalance or reach FLT licence, LLOP, PPT, with the issuing body
  • Safety record — incident-free time, in months or years
  • Shift flexibility — nights, weekends, peak cover

If you hold a forklift licence, put it near the top, not buried under hobbies. It is often the single detail that moves your CV into the interview pile.

Five example bullet points

Copy the shape and swap in your own numbers — never invent them.

  • Picked 120–140 orders per shift against a site average of 95, with 99.7% scan accuracy over 12 months.
  • Held an RTITB counterbalance forklift licence and covered FLT shifts across goods-in and despatch.
  • Maintained a zero-incident safety record across 18 months, including peak periods with agency staff on site.
  • Trained 6 new starters on handheld WMS scanners, roughly halving their first-week error rates.
  • Volunteered for 14 weekend overtime shifts during Q4 peak, helping the site clear a 3-day backlog.

Even one honest number per bullet beats a paragraph of duties.

The mistake that sinks warehouse CVs

Writing duties instead of results. "Responsible for picking and packing orders" describes every warehouse job ever posted. "Picked 130 orders per shift at 99.7% accuracy" describes you. If you do not know your rate, ask a team leader or check your scanner stats before your last day.

Which template to pick

Keep the layout plain and fast to read. On NobelCV, the Studio Column family is a clean single column that suits this CV well, and North Ledger adds a little structure if you have several licences and certificates to list.
